In 2008, Brooklyn-based artist Kaws teamed up with Nike Sportswear for a limited edition OriginalFake two-pack which included a white Air Max 90 and this Air Max 90 Current Premium. It features a black four-way stretch textile upper on a Nike Free sole unit. Other details include two-tone Volt and black laces, and Volt OriginalFake XX accents on the tongue and toe. It was first sold at Nike Sportswear’s stores at 21 Mercer Street, New York and at the Montalban Theater in Los Angeles.
